Why clean your air ducts?

*Children are more affected by polluted air because they breathe faster and are closer to the ground where the concentration of pollutants are higher.
*One out of six people who suffer from allergies do so because the fungi and bacteria in their air duct system.
*The average 6 room house produces 40 pounds of dust every year.
*Air pollutants can cause lung disease.
*Air quality is among the top five environmental risks to public health.

How often should we clean our ducts?
First ask yourself a couple questions.
*Do you smoke?
*Do you have pets? Do they shed?
*Does anyone in your house have allergies?
*Did you just remodel your house?
*Did you just purchase your home?

Chances are if you just moved in the air ducts have never been cleaned. A good rule of thumb is to clean them every 3 to 5 years.
